Birth Prep Doulas empower women during their pregnancy. These women put their heart and soul into their job, which is to to help women understand all of their options during child birth, while providing support and care for the parents.

“Women come to us because they have valid childbirth wishes and real concerns. They have heard enough words and stories. What they really need is a game plan they can rely on. They just want to make sure of the best birth possible for mom and baby.” 

Meet the Doulas! This is Caroline and Erin.  They are both DONA international trained Doulas. Their passion is to inspire women and help them gain confidence during this beautiful time.

The Birth Prep Doulas offer many ways of how they can help. They even come to the comfort of your own home for child birth education classes. Most importantly, these women are incredible and kind. We highly recommend them to expectant families.

MHP Community Spotlight| Aqua Journeys Swim School

This is our first of many posts in our MHP Community Spotlight Series. Every month or so, we will be focusing on a different small business that we love. We at Meggan Harper Photography have a strong belief that small businesses should help each other out to survive and thrive.

Aqua Journeys is a swim school, but it is so much more than that. With an emphasis on infant survival, they teach children of all ages to be safe in and around the water. In Florida, this is of utmost importance. Their instructors are Certified and Insured Infant Survival Specialists who are dedicated to teaching your child the survival swimming skills needed to enjoy the water and give you peace of mind.

 

Meet Kathy, the owner of Aqua Journeys. Kathy has had a passion for infant survival swimming for over 20 years. She’s experienced, knowledgeable, and well-loved in our community.

I am so happy to be able to photograph the babies of my friends. Wilder’s Mom, Nikki, used to babysit for my sons when they were weeee little, and now she has her own little ones. What an honor it has been to capture these memories for her.
